Kalangala Rotary Ultrasound Project

Imaging the World (ITW) /Imaging the World Africa (ITWA) through a Joint Rotary project with the Rotary Club (RC) of Kiwatule, RC Kampala Ssese Islands, Rotary club of Wilmette and RC Kalangala is implementing an ultrasound program aimed at improving access to antenatal ultrasound for pregnant women in the hard-to-reach district of Kalangala. Key outcomes of the program have been ultrasound capacity development for 9 health workers from the 3 project health facilities - Bwendero HCIII, Mugoye Health Centre III, and St. Elizabeth Bumangi Health Centre III.
