Imaging the World ideal specifications for a low-cost, rugged, portable ultrasound machine: ITW US System
Hi…I was referred to you guys by Terry Sweeney at Philips u/s here in Seattle. Yesterday I asked him if he could provide me an iPad app and a battery powered transducer for multiple medical uses in Zambia, especially pregnancy-related. I am spending time with a District Health Worker from Zambia who is providing me lots of details about the technological and other needs he has. This worker is spending time in Seattle with Earth Service Corps, of all things. Anyhow, an iPad or laptop PC solution would be extremely cool, mainly because of the other functionality such a device would have (pt. ed materials, care protocol, forms templates, etc.) I’m travelling to this district in a few months and will be able to learn lots more.
Keep up the good work!
