ITW Kenya at the Mara Rianta Health Center

Mara Rianta Health Centre is operated by Community Health Partners Kenya (CHP), the implanting partner of ITW in Maasai Mara. They see over 150 patients each week. The Health Centre offers accessible, affordable and quality healthcare for the community. They provide general outpatient care, antenatal & postnatal care, a well child clinic, family planning, HIV testing and counselling, HIV/AIDS care and treatment, laboratory services, integrated community outreach services, Tuberculosis care and management, nutrition, clean water and sanitation advice. The clinic includes inpatient beds as well. The most recent improvements have included a solar facility which provides a constant source of green power to the clinic as well as to power the ultrasound system, that can then run for 6-8 hours on one battery charge, enough for a full day of clinic patients!
