Steven M. Kin
Steve is a retired attorney. After graduating from the University of Michigan Law School, he joined the U.S. Peace Corps and served as a secondary school teacher in Malawi. He then worked for Legal Services of Eastern Michigan before joining the Legal Department of a major U.S. corporation where he had a long career dealing with various areas of law, including Intellectual property, general business , employment/human resources, and counseling the company’s entities in Latin America. He has served as an officer and member of the board of directors for several community non–profit organizations, including a Nature Center, a Land Conservancy, Senior Services agency, and Family and Children’s Services, as well as hands-on participation in several environmental and community development projects in the U.S. and abroad. Since his rewarding experience living and teaching in Malawi, he has continued to support non-profit charitable organizations and projects in Malawi.
