Lindon Otieno Nicolas

Lindon is an attorney and advocate of the High Court of Kenya and currently works with the Ministry of State for Interior and Coordination of National Government as In-House counsel. Prior to this, he practiced briefly with the firm of Rachier & Amollo Advocates and Behan & Okero Advocates. He is trained in Policy and Legislative Drafting, Alternative Dispute Resolution. He has a Bachelor of Law Degree from Moi University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies from the Kenya School of Law in Nairobi. He is an expert in charity law having worked in that field for 15 years.

He has further consulted with various organizations including but not limited to USAID-Kenya, Amkeni-Kenya, CLARION, FIDA, UN-DESA, UNDP, UNESCO and Tacitus Limited. Lindon was also an integral part of the crafting/drafting of the Public Benefit Organizations Act, 2013.
