Stakeholders meeting in Uganda 4.29.10

4.29.10 –  ITW held a stakeholder’s meeting in Uganda, to educate and elicit feedback all of the various parties that will interact to forward this mission, and this meeting occurred on April 29th 2010 at the Grand Imperial Hotel  in Kampala, Uganda. The meeting was a success, and ITW was featured on Good Morning Uganda(click here to see video) .

4.27.2010 – ITW members met with the the Deputy Speaker of Parliament in Uganda, the Honorable Rebecca Kadaga. Ms. Kadaga was born in Kamuli District where ITW will be implementing three sites, and she generously expressed her support for the ITW’s efforts to work towards improving maternal health in Uganda.

4.23.10 – ITW members in Uganda for Stakeholders meeting in Kampala April 29th.

2.7.10 – The co-founders of ITW, Dr. Brian Garra and Dr. Kristen DeStigter, collaborated on a white paper manuscript generated through the the Rad-Aid conference on November 2nd. This white paper was accepted for publication in The Journal of the American College of Radiology. Check back soon for the article.
