Dr. Kristen Destigter was the invited Lecturer for the World Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (WFUMB) at the 2018 American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine(AIUM)conference in New York in March, 2018. Imaging The World Africa organized training for sonographers at Masaka Regional Referral Hospital in 2017. E-fast training equipped the sonographers with skills to quickly assess a trauma patient.
